Sketchbook cover... and more?

Not very often do I get to share something like this, but here's the pencils to a new series I'm developing (with a short story in an upcoming book from GIANT ROBOT HEAD Studios-- stay tuned!).

I've been knocking the idea around my head on this comic for a short while now, and alert viewers may have seen various related scribbles and sketches make their way into my gallery here on deviantArt. Well... here's the first official look. I'll have more to show and lots to share and tell in next to no time and I promise... this is going to be a fun ride.
